WELCOME ABOARD THE OCEAN OBSESSION II

Join us aboard the 1996 65' Ocean Obsession Party Fishing Boat. She's fast, Air Conditioned and Immaculate. A full galley with hot food, cold beer, and sodas. We leave at 8:00 am and return at 5:00 pm, seven days a week. We go deeper and get there faster. We take pride in what we do and it shows. See for yourself.

 

What We Expect From You

  • GPS Units are not allowed on board and will be confiscated
  • Hard Liquor is not allowed on board
  • Tackle is provided with rod rental, if you have your own rod you must provide your own tackle
  • Light tackle is not recommended
  • Our live well is for everyone’s use , please take out only what you put in
  • This is a family oriented boat, please refrain from using foul language and leave bad attitudes at home
  • Please be at the marina 30 minutes prior to departure time.
  • Please remember the mates and galley personnel work for tips (15 – 20 % is recommended)

What You Can Expect From Us

  • Life Jackets (Safety Equipment) are located under bench seats in the galley
  • Self-Deploying life rafts are located on upper deck
  • Thorough explanation on how to use our tackle and baiting techniques
  • Our crew will always be honest, friendly and helpful, if you experience differently please notify management
  • You can always expect a clean and well maintained vessel
  • We provide whole fresh/frozen sardines and squid for bait. We cannot always provide live, but try when available. (Please note that the mates fish for live bait when possible)
  • We will always try our hardest to locate fish. Weather, current, and Mother Nature do not always cooperate.
  • The fish you catch are yours (provided they are legal size). The mates will clean your fish for a reasonable fee (15-20% tip is recommended)

Misc Information

  • Seasick Medication – Take according to package directions
  • Sunscreen – Both body and Lip
  • Camera and Film
  • Hats and Sunglasses
  • Should you forget anything that you might need, the marina store is well stocked with all of these items.
  • You may bring small coolers, nothing over 48 quarts. Cans only – No bottles

Children

  • Children and families are always welcome on the Ocean Obsession II.
  • With children 4 years and younger there is a concern for rough seas. Check with the captain when they get to the boat.
  • Children can bring other things to do. If they bring any kind of electronics they must wear headphones.
  • Life jackets are available, just ask one of the mates and they will be happy to provide as many as you like.
  • No strollers, highchairs, playpens, etc.
